**High Country Conservation Center will be hosting a "Party for the Planet" fundraiser on April 22 at HighSide Brewery, on Main Street in Frisco.**

High Country Conservation Center and HighSide Brewery will host Party for the Planet this Earth Day, April 22, from 5–7 p.m. at HighSide Brewery, located at 720 Main St. in Frisco. During the happy hour celebration, the brewery will offer a free drink that evening to anyone who makes a $10 donation to HC3.

“Ski season may be winding down, but we’re ramping up,” said HC3 executive director Jennifer Schenk. “We just completed the Summit Community Climate Action Plan, and this is a great opportunity to celebrate with the people across the county who made this plan happen.”

The plan outlines strategies to reduce countywide emissions 80% by 2050. This goal aligns with the Paris Agreement on climate change and came together thanks to a diverse group of key community members and businesses.

HC3 staff will be on hand to toast and to talk about ways people can reduce their footprint. Expect giveaways, stickers and like-minded neighbors who care about stopping climate change.
