WHATEVER OPINION you may hold on the causes and urgency of climate change, it should be clear to you that humans are not always good stewards of the planet. The evidence litters our forests, beaches and oceans, and chokes our cities and highways. A lot of the debate about climate change and environmental stewardship focuses on what other people or nations should be doing to give the living creatures of Earth a fighting chance, but this week we want to explore personal responsibility. So our big question is this: What lifestyle changes have you made in recent years to become a better inhabitant of the planet? Email your response by noon on Tuesday, March 5, to letters@cmonitor.com. Please keep it between 150 and 400 words, and include an address and phone number for verification. We’ll run a selection in next Thursday’s Forum section. (Editor’s note: There were no answers submitted for last week’s question about a guaranteed basic income.)
