GRAND RAPIDS — A woman was arrested after an angry confrontation with a gym employee at a Planet Fitness in Grand Rapids last week.
The incident happened about 1:30 a.m. on June 12 and was caught on a cell phone video that was then posted on Facebook, reports Fox 17 in west Michigan. In the video, the woman can be seen arguing with an employee and throwing computer equipment. The video has been shared more than 5000 times.
According to the New York Post, the altercation allegedly was sparked by a disagreement over Tootsie Rolls. Grand Rapids police told Fox 17 that the 20-year-old woman is being charged with destruction of property, but the employee who appears to be assaulted in the video declined to press charges.
