TV tonight: 'Happy,' 'Knightfall' and 'Planet Earth II'

Happy!
Syfy, 10 ET/PT

Christopher Meloni's foul-mouthed crime comedy continues to be haunted by its Very Bad Santa (Joseph D. Reitman), even though Christmas is over. Merry (Lili Mirojnick) gets closer to finding Very Bad Santa while Sax (Meloni) and Happy (Patton Oswalt) follow clues to Chinatown. And Blue's sister appears, seeking revenge for the murder of her sons.

Knightfall
History, 10 ET/PT

The Knights Templar are still working on their mission to find the Holy Grail, but encounter some hiccups along the way. Landry (Tom Cullen) finds help from a pagan acquaintance. Meanwhile, Gawain (Pádraic Delaney) looks into a murder mystery and Princess Isabella (Sabrina Bartlett) faces a huge betrayal.

Planet Earth II
BBC America, 9 ET/PT

The next installment in the Planet Earth franchise, Blue Planet II, is getting a five-network launch on Jan. 20, but don't miss one of the best episodes from last year's series. "Cities," which follows groups of animals that have adapted to live in dense metropolises, is as beautifully filmed and edifying as the rest of the Planet Earth episodes, but with a more powerful ending than usual.
